Very few people in the US, less than 1% of the population are trans, and not even 0.1% of that population has sought to "de-transition". They focus so much energy on attacking such a tiny portion of people. Such ridiculous 💩.  They could have used the money to build a bunch of affordable housing for all the homeless people in Texas.

Precisely. People don’t seem to realise that gender affirming care isn’t just changing gender nor is it exclusive to queer people.

Straight cis people all the time have it, breast enhancements or reductions, hair transplants, even IVF that allows women to become pregnant is very much a gender affirming thing. Plus many men and women get testosterone and oestrogen shots. 

People are just scapegoating and demonising things, plus if they openly admit it’s ONLY trans people all these things will stop being available to; then it violates their rights as a protected characteristic.
