I saw the film in IMAX theaters when it was out. Then the Castro Theater has a showing for it months later. It was like full on concert experience. The gays and the girls showed out! Dressed up and we’re cheering and I got up during Alien Superstar and was working the choreography on the side. Then people were doing the line dance for “Before I Let Go.” Then also, after the F*lsom Street Fair (DONT LOOK IT UP) me and my bf were at a club and the dj mixed in some PURE/HONEY and everyone was living for it! Probably my favorite Beyonce era.
