I can’t with some of you saying she doesn’t take risks or has become Taylor swift and only cares about capital gain, critiques and fortune. Maybe if it was 2021 with all those ad campaigns but we are thankfully past that. 

Girl literally hasn’t promoted a lead single since 2013 and leaves tons of potential hit singles and visuals go to waste every album but somehow all she cares about is commercial success? She couldn’t even be bothered to release physicals for mayhem singles lol. 

And yes, maybe ARTPOP, Mayhem and BTW etc didn’t have any super experimental songs but each of them have their signature gaga sound that she’s created for herself and far from what any other pop artist would release. Can anyone else really sing disease, abracadabra, scheibe, or aura? Also, experimental does not mean it’ll be good but some people talk as if it would be the second coming of she was to do it.

I also can’t believe after how much she has done for the queer community there are members questioning her position on things. She hasn’t posted anything about the queer community in a year? Okay so? She literally dedicated an entire album to us at the height of her popularity. She still has the BTW foundation doing its thing and who knows what else she does behind the scenes that we don’t even know about. She doesn’t have to post about every issue to prove where she stands. 

Isreal and Palestine? 99% of you have never said anything on the issue that’s been ongoing for 70 years but now want gaga to suddenly say something just because it became the norm to do so (yes, obviously I know the situation has escalated to unprecedented violence but my point still stands). 
 

The only things I’ll agree on is that I wish her songs had deeper meaning and lyrics about life and I wish she would be more crazy with her fashion again and not just wear cool stuff while on tour.

Chromatica is a album where pain is wrapped in good and catchy dance-pop music. Sometimes some one must conentrate on things like joyful beats and the good things are growing. Imagination to another planet when things are becoming hard. Love Stupid Love. Better a well-intentioned blah than just to maintain an image and try to recreate ra-ra, ah-ah-ah, roma-roma-ma which ends up like a caricatur.

joanne, Chromatica, and mayhem are probably the least unique albums she’s released, if we’re not counting TF.  Even before TF her music and lyrics and concepts were very unique, not basic or generic.  But Joanne, Chromatica, and mayhem are for the most part very lyrically and musically regular and common. Of course a few tracks here and there that feel like it’s GAGA but then a lot of the tracks could be some other random artist and lack that unique Gaga zest we’ve all been longing for since TFM/BTW.

I didn't stan until ARTPOP 'cause nothing pre-2013 really excited me all that much  

Mayhem is her greatest album and Joanne remains my favorite. I hope she stays right on the track she's already on

I heard Joanne today and it is so stripped-down,.. i mean the title is named after her aunt. It is a good record which is so important for her as an artist. I love Million Reasons much - Diamond Hearts touches me also. For me Joanne is even in some phases stronger than The Fame and sometimes i like it more than BTW. 

Of course BTW has cute unique songs like Heavy Metal Lovers, Judas and Government Hooker, but Joanne is really something for the heart. The albums are not really comparable.
