So with Mayhem Gaga sang about many things inner demons, love, romance, partying etc. but what topics should she sing about on her next album? Do you want her to sing more about her relationship with Michael and explore his impact on her life? Sing about her interests? Sing about her thoughts on the world? Something she has never sung about before? Discuss sistrens:partysick:

I'd like to see her get slightly political again, but in a fun way where its obvi giving a **** you to the trump administration and the puritan bastards, but in a cheeky camp way.

I'd like her to sing about whatever she wants, tbh. Because certain topics you mentioned like partying or romance, are mostly used as vehicles/even red herrings to chart much deeper themes. There's so much metaphor on this album it's crazy. Garden of Eden (Feminist Biblical allegory for self-actualization that is in conflict with the "Biblical") and LoveDrug (About the utter paralyzing effect of nostalgia and recognizing there's no going back so we should do our best to live in/for the present, no matter how difficult) for example have nothing to do with partying/love in and of themselves. Nearly every song on Mayhem hides its true colors, and that's its true strength. Besides one hell of a voice (understatement), immaculate production instincts, etc.  :vegas:

Sorry if that came out a bit weird... I just love what she's doing/has nearly always done. :firega:

Re: Puritans, imho GoE gave them a big eff you if you interpret the light our semi-reincarnated Eve wants to be hit with as seeking knowledge, "her friend that's much more fun" as Lilith, because she's fully there already, and our new Eve (who is still on her quest, "this chick's a machine") as also purposely seeking self-knowledge/sexual fulfillment with a short trip to Eden - she knows what'll happen - with moans/groans in the outro sealing the deal and making her a fully autonomous person who has gained (forbidden, as the light represents all truth humanity cannot know, only God, in Abrahamic religion) knowledge and has chosen self-determination. And possibly poisoned a reincarnated Adam if taken literally but I don't, it's just her foreknowledge and choosing supposed original sin again in a way if it means free will and self-actualization. Not that actual "wimmin belong in the kitchen"/puritans taking away our rights would understand all of that, though. :huntyga: But choosing Biblical themes in a provocative modern song by HER might already make them apoplectic.

But I like the general idea of tackling the absurdity of the modern...age, though! :stalkga:
