I’m not sure but I think the majority of the world were hoping for them to become the next Brangelina.

People complain about Gaga’s acting ability but her and Bradley should be commended for the fact they acted so well it convinced people their love must be authentic. And bravo to their publicists because they didn’t deny the rumours or anything until Gaga herself shot them down AFTER Shallow won the Oscar. Those rumours literally helped with the success of the film and kept people talking for months

I remember Jennifer Esposito (her and Bradley were literally married for 4 months) got some heat for laughing at a post online of David Spade for suggesting is there any chance two aren't well ya know

I thought so as well if not sexual.  In retrospect I don't know if he felt the same way.  

 

Bradley also separated from his then wife in 2019.  I remember thinking any day there was a chance they might go official as couple tbh.  But at the same time I can't see Gaga ever being a home wrecker type though.

I remember around that time hearing that she was helping him on his album (I believe he did release music shortly after that time so it tracks), and really thought I saw a photo of the two of them at his house. Wasn't long after that when it had romantic rumors but originally it was about music
