It peaked at #4 with 59 million impressions.

 

For comparrison, TSwift's "I knew it, I knew you" is #1 Radio right now (for the 17th day) with 77 million impressions.

 

Bruno Mars "Risk it All" is at #2 with 72 million impressions.

 

 

So as far as US radio is conserned, "Choosin' Texas" is undeniably a hit. 257 days on the chart, more days than all but 1 of the songs above her.  yet a mild hit nonetheless

For me it is still odd that a song #1 for 15 weeks seems so unknown

I know that my personal experience is not a reflection of the world (or the US in this case), but usually songs that stick that long on the charts, specially on the #1 spot, are more talked by the people, media, etc
