However, once Perry was above the crowd, the stunt became harder to control as different sections of the audience pushed the inflatable in competing directions. 'Get me to that straw,' Perry could reportedly be heard telling the crowd as she pointed towards the stage installation. Footage showed her attempting to redirect fans with her hands, but the bottle continued drifting away while she remained enclosed inside it. The moment did not appear to involve a dangerous equipment malfunction, and Perry was eventually moved back towards the intended destination.
