People can tack on the ABBA asterisk at the end of that statement ^ but it doesn’t diminish the song’s impact… & the electronic additions to an already-incredible instrumental DO elevate it into something even stronger. Not saying it is the best song of all time (or even Madonna's best song)... but it is one of those rare, impossible-to-ignore tracks. Meanwhile, (imo) Sorry actually requires some effort to stick in your head… & wears out its welcome after a few replays. The screws on Hung Up couldn’t be turned tighter, whereas Sorry has an “unfinished/demo” quality to it.
