Even if that wasn’t a “diss” she was still the one who shaded Katy on twitter. And Gaga’s tone when answering that question was definitely shady.

if you're on about the mechanical horses and green hair tweet. Yeah it was shade. But it also happened years after Katy said she was using blasphemy like a fart joke for the Alejandro video. Gaga does NOT like that woman and she won't take the hint lmao

I think, most detrimentally, is that Katy Perry's music just doesn't connect with a large audience any more.

The ill will she's racked up over the years is just the cherry on top on her flop sundae.

Well yeah I know Gaga don’t like her that’s so obvious, I was just replying to the original comment that said Katy engaged in beef with Gaga when the beef is mostly on Gaga’s side with her

I liked her when I was younger... i always thought she just made fun music... never took herself too seriously... it felt like the right amount of quirkness/weird/hot girl. I think nowadays she went too overboard mb and that's why ppl are turned off a little. As u grow up, ppl want to see natural evolution. With her, witness felt like a 180 and then lately she been trying to recapture old Katy but like I said, ppl want to see a natural evolution and this why I am assuming it led to ppl disliking her => her not being able to cement herself as a legend/not being successful anymore

I think what rubs people the wrong way is that whilst many of her peers have evolved, grown and changed, she has spent years and years trying the same shtick, seemingly baffled at why it stopped working and became more and more of a tone-deaf caricature of herself. 143 is almost an Onion-like mockery of what people think pop music is. People don't like that one of the big pop icons is now dancing with a talking poo and making music videos where she uses a urinal dressed as Wendy the Welder. Frankly, I think people just find her annoying.

I, unlike many, don't think she is some kind of deeply morally suspect individual. But I do think she lacks self-awareness to an impressive degree, which often results in her doing questionable or poorly thought-out things.

the whole dr. luke collaboration woman's world was just the dumbest possible career move ever. the fact not her or any of her advisers pulled a plug on that before release was sufficient to justify her career collapsing imo. like learn to read the room, seriously... she was so desperate for a hit she sold her soul to the devil instead, and ended up left with neither.

that being said, i did like her last two singles.
