Very sad news and I couldnt sleep this evening. I didnt attend pride due to work but many friends did and theyre all ok.

The world is falling apart. Between religious extremism running rampant and fascism being on the rise, how are we supposed to keep on living a 'normal' life? War, death, terrorism and hate have become the new normal. Are we supposed to pretend everything is fine? And, yes, I realize this might sound rich coming from someone living in one of the wealthiest countries in the world. Countless people worldwide have to live in far, far worse conditions every day, and that's simply unfathomable. It's just that the parts of the world that didn't seem as broken are losing their supposed feeling of security fast.

My deepest condolences go to the victims and their families. Let us hope no one else succumbs to their injuries. One death is already one too many.

Wtf there are mfs who will kill gays people but not the alleged pdfiles defended by the government and left in nature (especially the one on the **list**) ?? Not saying that killing is okay (even if the powerful pdfiles deserve it), but seriously... Gays are still viewed as a menace by this ill society ?

This says a lot about our society's priorities.

R.i.p. this is terrible and this is a proof that the fight is never over.

Anyways. What happened in Berlin wasn’t only an attack at the CSD but rather to the whole community, including me. It genuinely breaks my heart 💔

As I always say, the biggoted ones are under the influence of the wahhabism in Europe, and this ideology exists because of USA, Arabia Saudi and Afghanistan. 

Look at muslims countries before the cold war, like Iran or Pakistan... Women were free to wear what they wanted or at least had a cute transparant veil as a symbol of wealth and of being prude. Men and women were at the same bars. 

They would have become as the liberal Christians are, if these wars didn’t occured and filled the whole existance of the ppl who turned into extremists. 

It all has to do with individualization or at least getting a community philosophy/history that gives you good mental structures.

For my case, I'm muslim but from a mystical branch of Turkiye. Ppl are mostly liberal and not very politized too because politics have lead them to be persecuted by the Sunnis. The sultan was Sunni and didn’t want another rising religious authority to eappear as an antagonist to his power maybe. Anyway, that's how I understand why the persecutions. So this community stands now with oppressed and their ritualistic music is about grieving and spiritual love. 

Now, my philosophy and beliefs are free. For exemple I don’t defend the idea of the religion expansion and wars. This is more political than spiritual. I learn from diverse esoteric beliefs including Jewish and Christian mysticisms... I'm open on various learnings and changing my povs infinitely in a open minded way. But I really dislike what is too terrestrial and based on exclusion and hard dogmas. That’s the individualization of the believer. 

Eh, otherwise why would I be an ally and talk on Gagadaily ?

I don’t understand why it’s so taboo to talk about religion if the attack was religiously motivated. 

Too many people turn a blind eye when it comes to Islam cause they don’t want to appear islamaphoic or racist. 

The reality is Islamic religious extremism is rising in Europe and it’s primarily through laxed immigration policies from the left that want to appear as saviours of the world. 

This is a problem and it shouldn’t be controversial to point that out.

Nobody said it was taboo, tho. Basically everyone in this thread denounced Islamic extremist violence in the same way they would violent extremists of any religion. That being said, tying Islamic extremist violence to immigration is wild, given that the majority of Muslim immigrants in the UK are non-violent and the ones that have engaged in acts of terror were usually lone wolves.

I’ve just realised that was the last concert I ever went to and I’ve never had much desire to go to one again. Not even Gaga’s really. Maybe it’s PTSD but it’s definitely changed my perspective.
