Songs like Telephone

Sometimes I get so obsessed with Telephone that I look for songs like it but there are none with that type of sound and energy

I looked for songs produced by Darkchild who produced Telephone but his early 2000's stuff doesn't sound anything like it and his stuff of the time doesn't come close as much, some of the Nelly Furtado's album that he produced in 2012 get a bit close but not much

from all the sounds other pop stars copied from Gaga, Telephone is not one of them, there are no copies of it 

Do you know some?

Nothing in pop music that sounds like The Fame Monster will ever sound as good as The Fame Monster. It's that classic

Wow yeah never thought about that before but nothing similar comes to mind yet

I did used to think it was a more gritty four on the floor pop version of the type of electronic RnB Rap style productions of these (at least the same colour I "see" when I hear all these):

I’ve recently rediscovered this Kylie album, which happens to be the very first album I illegally downloaded from a russian website at a very young age  I wasn’t even a Kylie fan.

The entire LP is very electroclash, synth-based, loud and colorful in its sound. What I noticed is how similar Speakerphone is to Telephone. Not as fast-paced and euphoric, but the „phone” theme and harp at the beginning made me think either Gaga or Darkchild had this track in the back of their brains when producing their song.

Hmm, good question … producer wise … maybe look into The Neptunes, Timbaland, Danja, Lex Luger, Mike Will Made It … might not be carbon copy parallels but they were in the proximal Hip-Pop/Electro-Hop space …

I‘m also just thinking a lot about Ringtone-era TRL … 

These shares are all over the place, but maybe one might lead to a relevant realm

Only metal songs do that

Also, it’s surprising how completely different Telephone sounds in comparison to the other Gaga + DarkChild tracks. They’re all about being really soft and clean and then there’s Telephone.

I don't hear any proximity to telephone, but I like them they remind me of hip-hop from 2008-2010
