Under Mamdani, crime rates are the lowest they’ve been in decades. He’s worked with the governor to secure a mulitbillion dollar investment in universal childcare. He’s balanced the city’s budget, overhauling a multibillion dollar deficit. He’s offered rent relief to millions of New Yorkers in rent stabilized apartments. Initiatives he’s currently also working on: free buses, city run grocery stores, in addition to broader infrastructure and transportation improvements. 

Weird that you single out him not having the legal authority to arrest Bibi (something most understood as symbolic and righteous recognition that he’s a war criminal), yet, somehow miss tangible action. Huh, it’s almost like…you have a bias against him based on your weird fetish for defending genocide. Go figure!

I was born and raised here. He’s the worst mayor ever. That’s why his approval ratings are lower than even Adams’ at this point in his term. All he does is talk about Israel and act like he’s the mayor of Gaza and not New York.

You’re genuinely so addicted to lying I’m almost wondering if it’s a bit. Adams’ approval rating at this point in his tenure was 29%, where as Mamdani’s is currently at 58%. There’s also a painful irony in harping about him talking about Israel-Gaza, given that he never once brought it up on his own during the campaign.
 

During the first mayoral debate, when asked what country they’d visit first as mayor of NYC, every other candidate fell all over themselves to say Israel (as if they were running for mayor of Tel Aviv, adding another layer of irony to your comment about Gaza) and when Mamdani said he’d rather focus on NYC, he was specifically and pointedly pressed about whether he believed Israel had the right to exist because they wanted to make his campaign a referendum on Israel, believing it would torpedo his chances of winning.

Now, the Zios are just mad that they accidentally managed to hand him a huge platform where he’s not only in the right, but his stance is also more aligned with popular sentiment than their’s. Truly hoist by their own petard.
