nostril, yes. septum, no. 

also depends if you size up the jewelry. 

i have my septum stretched to 2g (i can stick most pencils and straws thru it) but you could never tell i have my septum pierced when im not wearing jewelry.

Even when i was wearing my septum I could make it ‘invisible’ by flipping it up into my nose.. Would do so at work / around fam back in the day but that may depend on nose type/the jewelry gauge? ^ quote 2 ^

But dang that was 13 years ago already?! I did / possibly still do have mine done. Had gotten it done back in April of 2014. So just over 12 years ago? - Dang wasn’t even that long after Gaga  - It’s easy to remember when I had it done as me and a friend went to get it done together and was either right on or the day after my 18th birthday (cries realizing current age)  (& bc parents are… The red hat wearing religious type) & obv non ear piercings = skip go and you’re heading straight to hell  … Had to wait til was 18 to go get it done legally  

But I say did/possibly still do as I’m not sure if would still be able to get one in?..  I’d say ~post 6 years of wearing one consistently, I went a good ~3-4 years going periods without one in based on mood. But never had an issue getting one to go back in no matter how long went without (albeit after the longer stretches it would be super sore the following days) But now is prob the longest stretch without having one in, around ~3/4 years?.. Am curious if I still could or not? but funny enough a few weeks or so ago had just came across a decretive one I had that’s shaped like an octopus tentacle, wanted to try testing it out but bc had found it inside a misc moving box I was like ehh prob should clean it first - then just kinda forgot about it..

 

But I did enjoy the piercing overall, is one of my piercings that I’d recommend.  But ah just now realize the timeframe of when I stopped wearing my septum co aligns with when i got my tongue pierced, maybe subconsciously had found it was too much going on having both in or something?
 

And now since on topic of piercings + I’m already rambling, other than septum & tongue I also had my ears & nipples done as well. [Nipples were sooooo painful omfg was definitely the worst of the bunch, by far! If I hadn’t needed them I probably wouldn’t have even kept them in (needed as in one of my nipples was an innie and I was using the piercing to fix it bc was super self conscious about it)]Yet 5 different friends of mine got them done and Every. Single. One. said it didnt bother them at all other than the quick initial pinch  So guess that sort of thing just depend on the person, bc I’m pretty sure I remember coming across someone who said septum was their most painful & yet that one didn’t phase me at all (oh & now remembering it tended to stink at times? When talked with others who had one, it was like split 50/50 between some finding it a ‘good’ stink and some finding it to be a ‘gross’ stink?) && I think that’s all I have to say about the topic..
 

 Lastly did think it looked good on Gaga
