Charli is the more interesting artist. Even early career songs like Boom Clap, Fancy and I Love It, though they became mainstream pop, are gems because of her singular delivery.

Dua lipa is NPC music for me so Charli, she has influenced other artists sounds and actually had an impact on the industry, and no I'm not talking about charts

I understand the sentiment but there's no need to be haughty about it 

We're a bunch of bored/depressed/neurodivergent/sassy people on a pop forum. These polls aren't gladiator battles or feuds. Just casual conversation starters that most people are light-hearted and largely respectful about.

Both are great in diffirent ways. Charli's music is a lot more fun, crazy and unique, also really gr8 lyrics at points, but at times I feel like it lacks a certain kind of polish in a way, and vocals aren't that great.  And I really don't enjoy her live preformances in a way, but then again as a lover of theatrics my opinion there is trash. 
On the other hand Dua is painfully safe, the songs are great but nothing too groundbreaking or revolutionary, and I wish she got more deep and personal with the lyrics (like what she did on Happy for you was so ****ing gorgeous!). But she is a faaaaaaaaaaaar better preformer and her vocals are divine, like when it comes to ROL I prefer the live orchestral live album. 
Overall they are both totally diff artists, I wish Charli took some vocal lessons and maybe cooked a song a bit more, and I wish for Dua to take a risk for a change :P But I do love them both!

Dua is absolutely the better pop star lol I don't have any hesitation, but I think in the same vein Charli is the better artist, no doubt about that.

I’ll give you soulful but I think charli’s voice is SO recognizable and even in her writing so much so when Selena Gomez bought that song from her last summer it was like well yeah ofc she did. I think both are equally recognizable

Yeah basically this summarizes my feelings, too. It’s clear Charli loves pop but is excited to push herself in any manner that inspires her even if it doesn’t land. Dua loves being the polished pop star making fun music everyone loves. Two very different artists in very diff niches

Exactly! I think it can be highlighted with like.. Dua got dragged for her dancing, she went into a studio and said mama play the track and teach me some moves. Whatever Charli gets dragged for I think she doubles down on, brat was a huge success and she said time for a new sound.
