My prediction is; they’re using Sadie Sink as the establishing mutant in Spider-Man because they want to do The Phoenix Saga first and want to give Sadie a full phase or 2 before she becomes Phoenix and then another few phases of her as Phoenix before she becomes Dark Phoenix. My guess is they want Dark Phoenix to become the big threat of the Mutant saga after the Multiverse Saga is over.

The question is whether they’ll follow the animation’s way of telling the story since it’s the most known in pop culture, or of they‘ll go for the actual comic run version. As for Emma I suspect they’ll not introduce her for at least a few years yet.

I kind of hope that they wouldn’t do phoenix right away.

This might sound wild but I think Sadie is Maddy Pryor or the Spider-Queen and Tom is actually Kaine (Ben makes more sense but they are using him now for Spider Noir)

It already has, it’s dialed upto an 11 now we have Adam Driver having closed his deal and Sadie already in Spider-Man. But the rumours are the base cast will be announced at D23 AFTER Spider-Man. Scoopers and insiders have already said SDCC is gonna be Doomsday focused. D23 will likely announce X-Men’s base cast, it’s release date and title plus maybe some other projects.

I get that, but it wouldn’t be right away it would take 5 years of world building before she became Phoenix roughly and a further 5 or so as Phoenix before she became Dark Phoenix. 

I think she’s 100% Jean Grey purely based on the way they’ve hidden her, to the point she hasn’t been allowed to even do press for the movie until AFTER it’s release and the powers shown in the trailer suggest she’s her too. Plus from the set photos she’s wearing yellow qnd green.

I have a full theory about how the Mutants are gonna be introduced, what storylines they’ll follow to start and how they’ll explain a lot of things. One of those is to do with the second snap Hulk did in EndGame.
