Rita Ora forced to cancel her show due to thunderstorm as her tour equipment is fried

Rita has been left fuming after her gig was forced to be cancelled at the last minute due to a thunderstorm.

The singer was supposed to perform at the Gozo Festival in Spain on Saturday evening but the storm made it impossible for her to take to the stage.

 

She took to her Instagram stories to update her fans about what was going on: “Hey everyone, basically everything could blow up because my equipment was left on stage during the storm because nobody was allowed to go on stage to take it down.

“I guess it’s illegal so only my show is off and everyone else’s equipment that’s dry will be replacing and the show will go on for them.

“So only my show is cancelled because all of my equipment got stuck in the thunderstorm and in the rain so all my band, my monitors, my wires, everything is completely fried.

“So I’m sorry Gozo, I’m sorry to everyone, it’s not my fault. I’m here backstage, ready and dressed and I love you guys.
