Confessions is a vibe for sure, a return to form. It's good! 

But Mayhem is a masterpiece.

I mean if we're calling HBDUWM a Taylor dupe (which I think is giving Taylor far too much credit as Gaga have similar songs that predate her soant to pop) then we can't say KFL is anyway unique.

Two excellent "return to form" albums. I can't vote, CII is way too recent. But I have to say, I'm a sucker for a concept album. Even if Mayhem is great, it sometimes struggles to find what it's trying to say, even if the chaos of it all is the the point. C2 has a clear POV from the first track to the last. Mayhem has amazing career highlights tracks, but it has it's lows, with songs that are very well produced but lack substance in the lyrics side of things (notably the bonus tracks).

MAYHEM, and it’s not even a thought otherwise. I truly exclusively will listen to two C2 tracks ever again, and I’d probably still listen to BOG before either of those.

Why do I have the impression that if Gaga released CII you guys would hate it so hard but If Madonna released BOG or TDD, Madonna monsters would say it's a masterpiece 🤔

As someone who loves TDD, appreciates BOG, and loves CII, I don’t think that’s right lol

I’m curious to know if you mean this in a way that you put Confessions II on a pedestal that Gaga doesn’t have the creativity to achieve that if she tried or you think it’s a very basic sound for an artist like her.
