Vimo 1,695
So I just received my Confessions II Deluxe vinyl and I felt kinda underwhelmed by the product. I was particularly pissed by the lack of a booklet. I knew there was none. But still. It's mostly the case now with physical releases. And the main reason I want physical copies is to TOUCH AND READ AND WATCH THE PICTURES. But no one provides this experience anymore... I wished Mayhem had a proper booklet too. Not just a poster. Gimme a CATALOGUE. I need tour programs back too. Anyone else feels like this?
INNA 3,788
The luxury packaging edition of the deluxe vinyl looks so nice, I wish it wasn’t sold out. I’m with you on tour programs. Shocked at Madonna and Gaga not doing that for their ginormous recent world tours but I know fans service queen Kylie has our back with the Tension tour program Edited 17 hours ago by INNA fragment-fragment--bul-uh...scab-uh..fragment-foot, bullet fragment foot bich! River 126,840
It's all about quick profit these days, they don't care much about releasing a full complete product. before we know it, a booklet would become a dlc and we would have to pay extra to get it. So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy
Ophelia 5,401
I agree! the Chromatica vinyl is one of her best releases not only thanks to the goregous embossed trifold, but also a double booklet (if we call a zin a booklet) ...has anybody seen my disco stick? 2

Beyoncé is actually good at creating amazing physical products. The Homecoming and Renaissance Vinyls were top tier and the second vinyl edition of Cowbow Carter too. princedeeblebleble 3,495
Don't get me started, I was so pissed off when I got the deluxe booklet cd version that was nearly 40€, and from artists like Florence or Kylie I expected it to be a hard bound thing with images, lyrics, personel etc, like albums used to be.. but what we got was behind the scene pics in a pretty flimsy magazine. No personel, tracklist randomly put on the very back with just Madonna confessions ii written. Just meh.
Jackaroo 2,659
ngl i am surprised with how paper thin all confessions ll vinyls are as they keep coming in the post. They all have that stupid silver seal. I’m not even bothered about opening any of them yet, probably never will

Bronco 23,988
Tbf booklets with vinyl isn't really the norm. They usually use the inner sleeves and gatefolds to show off extra pics/lyric sheets etc. And like even that is more of a recent thing to falsely justify the insane price jumps LPs have gone thorugh since the pandemic. The gays know how to party
bxr 2,007
When J. Cole announced The Fall-Off Magazine for his world tour, I started thinking about what a limited edition print publication would look like for The Mayhem Ball concert film release … a live vinyl with the publication along with the film would be solid … Spoiler
RAMROD 116,788
Booklets and Vinyl never something that goes together, it's never the standard, unless it's a box set editions, subscription model such as VMP, or special edition reissues. While I get where you're coming from, this complain is a little weird if you're a collector, cos you'd already know this. If you want booklet, it's better to get CDs imho. But even Cds don't have one nowadays. The Mayhem CD I bought is one piece of paper folded in two.
