We’re so used to people like Taylor who stay in one lane to sell more and chart more. Charli said even before brat she was just gonna make what she wants now, also I can totally see her being a trend setter still sonically — she’s already had a viral trend from her album cover after all. We’re in a very cynical era of society so the pop music is gonna reflect that next I think. Rock inspired music is definitely gonna make a comeback. I foresee pop rock becoming big again next, then some form of dance music will get a revival when recession pop comes back.
