Russia to attack Poland to test NATO, US claims

Russia is planning an armed “provocation” on Polish soil to test Nato’s resolve, the United States has warned.

Critical infrastructure could be targeted by missiles and drones, with soldiers potentially crossing the border from Kaliningrad or Belarus

Polish security sources are not ruling out the prospect of a conventional ground incursion by Russian and/or Belarusian soldiers.

The goal of the Russian provocation would be to escalate tensions and force Western allies to suspend aid to Ukraine. It could be launched in a matter of months.

So the Russian plan to win in Ukraine is to try and initiate a world war after it's wasted billions fighting an isolated regional war and embarrassed itself to its major allies and become a weaker partner as a result? 

Nah. This is American war hawks continuing their campaign to get European nations to invest more heavily into the US military industry after Trumps provocations had actually convinced European nations to pull defence investment away from it.

I’d like to see them try, I’d love to see Putin ended and the Kremlin, we need to sort our affairs out massively in the west but it’d be better tackling China solely who are known for avoiding conflict with good reason. If they ever went to war or went for Taiwan their economy would be threatened massively, they rely on us buying their stuff so sanctions would be a striking blow, they also have considerable debt. The main issue we have is a lunatic in the White House. The idiot has made Iran stronger with the sheer incompetence of him and those in his administration.

Poland isn't the weak country it used to be anymore. Poland's geography used to make it super vulnerable to invasions because it is so flat BUT Poland now has one of the most booming arms industries around. Even if article 5 of NATO doesnt get triggered I am sure Poland along with Ukraine can do severe damage to Russia if it tries to expand the theater of war into Poland.

Also Russia is in no shape to provoke any more conflicts. Their economy is in shambles, 20% of their refining capacity has been knocked out by Ukraine attacks and are importing gasoline and other oil distilates for the first time... their military is stretched
