If you buy concert tickets in a place that requires serious travel, you simply have to take those risks into account. That's just reality. Artists get sick, technology can fail, weather is unpredictable, circumstances change.

It definitely sucks when artists don't bring their tour to your country but you can't blame the artist for the financial choices of the fan.

If I took the advice of "concerts are only for people who live close" I wouldve never seen Gaga live.

It sucks when its a production fail 'cause artists have a team who should plan to avoid these and its not the fans who should have to lost their money.

I get it when its their health.

"They are meant to be for people who live nearby" lol cities would ban locals from attending shows if they could. They love that tourism money that big shows bring. 

I live on the east coast of Australia along with most Australians and there's a reason why Perth on the opposite side are trying to host big events. They want money from us east coasters travelling there for shows.

When you’re doing as few stops as Ariana, for example only doing ONE Canadian date got the scribe country, the artist is definitely assuming that people are travelling for it. It’s like a residency mindset. No one believes that Las Vegas residencies are only “meant for” locals.

Yeah that specific quote is taking it a bit too far. My point is mainly that people should own up to their own choices. Travelling like that is a luxury and definitely not obligatory. Your money, your responsibility.
