Sadly she can’t make it anymore because Troy sold all the rights to it back to Coty from under her from the bottle design that Nick made to the copyright of having a perfume called “Lady Gaga Fame” that’s why they had to rebrand Haus Labs when they made makeup and they couldn’t call it Haus Laboratories by Lady Gaga because Coty owns that copyright too, so it was simply called Haus Laboratories as a singular and then when the clean rebrand happened they could finally add her name to it’s title because Haus Labs by Lady Gaga wasn’t a registered trademark.

Thats also why she can’t release any perfumes under the new label anymore because any perfume that has Lady Gaga in its name is owned by Coty. That’s why when she was the face of the Valentino perfume her name was not allowed to be used in any of the marketing or in the adverts. 

Coty even reused the entire bottle design for an official licensed Black Panther perfume when the first movie came out at Marvel. Apparently the scent was exactly the same too so they just changed the bottle colour and packaging.

Great design and ad campaign, terribly mid scent. Well, thats what most celebrity perfumes are like. At least Gaga made sure the visuals were fire!

honestly if you track the search there’s still a chance to find good deals for both Fame and Eau on Vinted, not sure if it’s the same for the US. I’ve paid the most for the sealed Fame with golden sticker, around 65 usd last year and the rest were good deals and stores cleaning out old stock. 

I'd never seen that giant Fame display (the thing right next to Zomby Gaga) before. That's f**king awesome.

- FAME perfume, all of the stuff, every possible product
- The TFM box set that came with a piece of her wig.... I wanted that sooooooooo bad
- Her collab with Barneys NYC... need all of that stuff

i managed to snag it last year from a guy from Slovakia who found it on FB marketplace in a bundle with 5 x thick Fame cardboard posters, a banner, cardboard standee and a super rare Eau de Gaga banner (which I haven’t seen on any collector page!) for ………. 20 euro 💀 for everything. Ofc I paid him a bit more for the items (almost everything except the standee because its huge and he won’t ship it ). The display itself is like top 5 most wanted gaga items, I feel super blessed.

nooo it’s just a black piece of plastic but it does look majestic  thank you! 

I’m thinking about finally setting up a collector ig page, it’s not everything i own when it comes to Fame promo items, but I have no enough room to display it tbh

Awesome collection!! Luckily, I got all of mine back when it was still being manufactured! I’ve only used 2 bottles since 2012. I will definitely need to find some more Eau De Gaga, as I wasn’t very financially stable during its release! I really wish Gaga would re-release them!

i saw it in person, it was official licenced Marvel merch back when the movie was out and you could only buy it in select stores that carried Marvel merch in Europe, I found it on holiday in Italy in like 2018 and it was almost 100 euros and was the exact same scent from my memory unchanged. And the box on the back says it's through Coty Paris. 

They've since changed the bottle design of the official BP perfume online (I presume Nick Knight sued Coty or something, since he's protective af about his art) and you can only now find it in a bottle that is similar to the Sauvage bottle. Not sure if the scent is different though.

this is so interesting, thank you! the price was ridiculous for a comic character perfume, who tf was going to wear it? i guess they wanted to milk the hype of Fame and were hoping people will notice it's the same.

 

I see the original is up for 20 USD on ebay and now i'm slightly tempted to purchase it, would look cool on the shelf next to the silver Fame tester box
