It stopped many super fans to see her with certain rich folks vaguely curious about her being able to go. 

It also contradicts her original messages about money not being the main goal.

But 2021? Damn. Maybe it’s because of her face/body language as well? Acting like she couldn't have made an album like Mayhem without Michael.

Acting like she couldn't have pulled off a good performance on ASIB without Bradley and I could still see glimpses of this when she interviewed with Adam driver and Joaquin Phoenix

I understand her gratitude and being humble but sometimes its just a bit much for me to listen to.

I understand that brand partnerships and sponsors are how the entertainment world works and she’s shilled crap before, but to do a full ad campaign for a literal pharmaceutical drug???

The only thing in her whole career thus far that made me question my Stan-card was her 2018-2021 era of being so open-arms with evil corps to push her career. The NURTEC ad, her “software people” concert, her weird interview with Oprah, her getting into a relationship with a venture-capitalist, etc., I genuinely was concerned that she might’ve flipped into being a full-on republican at this time. I obviously gave her the benefit of the doubt, but it left a weird aftertaste in my mouth.

She was the symbol of a new era of capitalism since the beginning of her career though, she had deals with Apple, Google, Youtube, Twitter, Zynga and others and they are no better than Nurtec or Oprah.

I mean, the Superbowl ball half time show itself is THE symbol of capitalism, it generates a lot of money through ads, the moment she jumped down the roof and landed on the field, she represented all the corps that advertised there, Pepsi at that time and the NFL.

Yeah, that 2013 performance is great imo, and I think you have to mark it up because she was unaccompanied, and I'd guess it was a pretty basic sound system compared to the other two. Having said that, I rate 2016 as one of the best things I've ever heard (from anybody), although, in keeping with the point of this thread, I wish she hadn't gone for the super-high note on 'freeeeee'. That's not what she's best at and it was a slight blemish for me.

On the nervousness in 2021, don't forget that everyone on that stage was kitted out in bulletproof gear, and with good reason.

if I'm honest, pretty much everything between ARTPOP and Chromatica/MAYHEM.

That decade was tedious as an OG Gaga fan.
