Her track list sequences always hold her albums back. I agree. Like there's no denying Mayhem is still her best album in a decade, but it's missing that big You & I-Edge Of Glory / Gypsy-Applause / Sine From Above-Babylon moment. Like maybe have SOAM and The Beast, then the ballad Blade of Grass, then two absolute massive songs - one a big power ballad, the second a total banger... then finish on DWAS? Would help bring the album to an epic conclusion sonically and thematically. Tho Idk if it would all feel too bloated

Tho I'm not sure about having Disease and Abracadabra right at the end. If anything I'd probably put Vanish Into You at the end just before Die With a Smile idk Edited Monday at 07:57 PM by Gorehound

I think in order to rearrange the album where each of the best songs have real room to shine, she'd need to add one or two new songs to the mix somehow. I mean I wouldn't complain

Also, the pointed hat has Spanish origins (capirote). Claiming it looks like the Kx3 is wildly ignorant and narrow-minded. Anyways I literally just meant it looks like what the marshmallow man would look like if he joined the kx3 I wasn't saying i think its a kx3 outfit, it was a mix of sarcasm because i think it looks ridiculous and calling it fashion is a long stretch sorry

StrawberryBlond 15,482 Posted yesterday at 02:02 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:02 AM - The Marina Abramovic collab. The whole spirit cooking debacle set her back quite a bit in the public's good graces and it took a long time until people got over that. I'm not super woo woo or anything but there was genuine darkness going on there that disturbed me and I don't like how Gaga, who was in a very vulnerable state at the time, was around someone who involved themselves in such extreme behaviour (which she thought was amazing). - Getting back with Luc. One of her worst romantic decisions of all time and it hurt to know she was with a guy who wasn't good for her. - Working with Terry Richardson. Anyone could see that guy was a creep and I don't even think he's that good a photographer. Person in front of white wall...groundbreaking. - The R. Kelly collab. I love the song, even his version, but he should never have been a consideration for that verse. I think Gaga in her naive optimism at times, wanted to believe he was wrongfully charged and unfairly vilified but even for 2012/2013, to presume his innocence was a bit of a long shot. - Getting with Christian. Her most wtf relationship. I still don't know what she saw in him, why they lasted as long as they did and how she ended up engaged to him. A rebound that ended up getting serious when it really shouldn't have. I would say JF2 but I genuinely thought she acted well in that, we got the great Harlequin out of it (plus another Grammy nomination), the public seems to have moved on real fast and it doesn't appear to have caused any lasting damage to her career or public perception...but her future movie role chances? That remains to be seen. But getting a role in TDWP2, the movie being a massive success and the songs she provided getting good reviews is a start.
