Hades made me a fan of hers, only listened to a few songs before that, but I could listen to Hades over and over again. 

I did some research what the name of the utopian album could have been, in contrast to Hades. I found Hathor, the name of an ancient Egyptian goddess, who was the goddess of dance and joy, which would fit the utopian/happy theme a lot. I know that Hades and Hathor had nothing to with each other mythologically, but they go well with each other in my opinion, which could be good use on visuals

I swear, I love her visuals, but I can't seem to click with her music, it's either her voice or idk the production maybe? because the lyrics are interesting in general.

It may be the production? Melanie loves using practical sound effects, which can be a bit jarring for some listeners, especially on certain songs like Nurse's Office and The Plague which include sniffling and coughing sounds.

i actually found it edgy and cool, I love weirdness.. but maybe it's her voice which kind of annoys me I guess..

But in my defense, I listened to PORTALS first and it's like considered as a very challenging album I think
