It’s just fine just like the rest of the songs she has released for this album. It just feels like there’s something missing in every song. 
 

I don’t know why there’s so much minimalism when it comes to vocals and production when this is supposed to be her rock inspired era. Rock is rarely minimalist.

Honestly why even bother releasing 2 minute songs.. idk work on the song and put out something that is complete. Both this and Rock music had  potential but they just randomly end.

Feels like a grower. I really like this direction for her but everything so far sounds kinda demoish? And these lyrics... I feel like she has about a million songs about the same thing now

I genuinely think she has no desire for this album to be a commercial success tbf, seems like she's just making art with her friends and releasing what she wants to put out. If she really wanted to have the numbers she could release Brat 2. Personally love all three songs but I can see why people don't.

Very much this, she’s been self aware since the original Brat Summer. And she legit said when asked about her next album back before the Brat era even ended she wanted to make an album entirely different from Brat and like a Lou Reed album.

Plus she’s a tumblr kid from the tumblr generation and this would’ve done NUMBERS in the peak of tumblr online. Like I could see this being in every tumblr gays playlist alongside Sad Dream by Sky Ferreira
