It's not a competition, each country you mention has their fair share in war crimes and no one denies that.

But they are irrelevant to this specific discussion.

Israel was the victim on 7th October, what happened was horrible, was a real nightmare. but the next day Israel became the unstoppable aggressors.

We can bring a lot of criticism about pro-Palestine activists, we can call out antisemitism, even anti zionism if u want, I mean, when I feel that something is off, I'm raising my voice here and not shy about it.

but despite all this, what Israel did in Gaza is absolutely 100% act of genocide and no matter how many times they will say that they have "the most humanitarian military in the world" and try to deny it or justify it because Hamas were hiding in a hospital.

If you know that a terrorist hides in a hospital with thousands of people + Israeli hostages,  you don't bomb the hospital!!!!

Like imagine if there was a hostages situation in a bank and instead of negotiating with the criminal, the police would just bomb the bank and kill everybody just to stop 1 criminal?

Notice that none of the countries you’ve mentioned are aided in the commission of war crimes by the US (a key player in the UN and global geopolitics) and the West more broadly and are thus often granted impunity in their commission of said war crimes. Huh. I wonder if that’s where the criticism comes from!

An organisation like the UN will only ever work when its more powerful than any superpower.

Otherwise, just like the League of Nations, it will be incapable of success because it lacks the strength to enact its policy.

All I’m saying is I’m sick and tired of people singling out Israel, when there’s much worse countries out there. I’m tired of logging on Instagram and seeing posts praising Hitl*r with hundreds of thousands of likes, and when I check the comments they are all agreeing. This is all the result of the anti-Israel hysteria. Yes the war in Gaza is horrible, as all wars are. But there’s so much fake news still, I see people using photos from other conflicts or straight up making up stories and claiming it’s Gaza.

I’m tired of the antisemitism that has been completely normalized by the left. And yes, I keep saying left because antisemitism from the right was always expected. But the betrayal from the left against the Jewish community was the most hurtful, especially since liberal Zionist Jews were on the frontline of every single progressive movement in America. I myself used to be on those far-left spaces, and let me just tell you, the horseshoe theory is absolutely true, most of them sound exactly like the KKK the way they speak of Israel.

Anyway, like I said before I’m not Jewish but it’s heartbreaking seeing the Jewish community feeling isolated and attacked from all sides of society. People forget Jews are the real minority, only 16 million worldwide or 0.2% of the worlds population, Israel half of that. The hate is disproportionate and that is for a reason. I used to ask my grandparents how the world could let the Holocaust happen, because I simply could not fathom, but seeing what’s happening today I get it.

Your feelings could be resolved if you stopped letting Israel appropriate the Jewish identity and use it as both a shield and a justification to slaughter tens of thousands of innocent people.

If any other developed Nation behaved like the USA now threatning Greenland, Canada, Panama, starting wars with no consultation in Iran etc by now they would have been sanctioned

As an American, I approve

Trump has already plummeted to record low approvals but if we faced some actual consequences for this chaos that idiot is causing that approval would finally fall low enough for Republicans to abandon him and get us back on the path to (relative) stability.

The problem is any country that could provide meaningful push back is likely so reliant on the US they can't risk it.

Hell, the world trades in our currency.

This. I am horrified by the ways in which antisemitism has risen since 10/7, but Israel’s own propaganda has served as a force multiplier of antisemitism and what’s needed now is not doubling down on the harmful and inflammatory insinuation that critique of Israel is antisemitic, but rather, accountability for the state and active decoupling of the global Jewish identity from the state of Israel. But so long as criticism of the Israeli government’s war crimes are called antisemitic, more fuel is given to legitimate antisemites like Tucker Carlson to use righteous fury against the Israeli government as an on-ramp to wholesale antisemitism.
