They are so threatened by Olivia, but at the same time Olivia shouldn't have involved herself with a youtube person like fanta, they all have a messy and problematic past. There are plenty of trusted media outlets for her to go to.

Fantano is a reformed edgelord. He's incredibly progressive and anti-racist. Also he's hot asf. Some of his music takes are awful. Oh well. 

Team Halsey re:his review/attitude towards their (imo) great project. 

Didnt know about the Gwen/Olivia thing. Yuck but oh well. Olivia's antics are a non-issue. She also collabed with David Byrne who was notoriously awful to his band. She's there because they are inspirations for the music she's making.

Both Olivia and Taylor are trash. Their music is disposable, they don't have any real songwriting or singing talent there either.

Fantano is trash and his review of Halsey’s album highlights his lack of passion for music and artistry.

He loved Brat and used his knowledge of Charli’s career and personal life to judge the album but he couldn’t bother to do the same with Halsey’s. He’s just not a good music critic and he truly believes people care more about him than Halsey ? lol 

Now I don’t think Olivia knows all of this but this could be a learning experience at some point for her. This is clearly orchestrated by Swifties which is funny considering Taylor has proven time after time she doesn’t care if her connections and friends are pieces of ****

The criticism was that a woman sang about her medical health.

So what if its a Swiftie smear campaign.

That racism incident wasn't hard to find. Its been known about for nearly a year after he beefed with Drake.

Since 2017 he's been linked to the alt-right when he was platforming disgusting political influencers like Sargon of Akkad. He literally had to cancel major planned work including a tour because of it.

If Olivia's team can't even do a quick google search before lining up an interview then her team need replacing. 

We shouldn't be dismissive of idiots like Fantano simply because we dislike bandwagoners.

I mean, that wasn’t really the critique, tho. He criticized the tone of the record as being essentially parodic, which is a critique of the art itself, not the personal content. I’m pretty sure he specifically compared the way she portrayed angst as being similar to that girl that parodies indie female protagonists on TikTok. The fact that the songs are about her health doesn’t exempt her from aesthetic criticism and nowhere did he delegitimize her discussing her health as much as he did *the way* she did it in her art which I think is fair game. Either way, not really interested in getting into the minutiae of Fantano’s political history, I just think the Halsey incident is blown out of proportion. 

Also: fwiw I didn’t mention the Swiftie thing and I have no vested interest in the stan war between Olivia and Taylor.
