PartySick 173,655
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said "all of Lebanon must burn" in a social media post after the deaths of four Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon, drawing a response from the Iranian foreign minister, who labelled the Israeli leadership a "threat to all of humanity". “For every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers should cry," Ben Gvir wrote on X on Friday. "With all due respect to the Americans, Israel must make it clear to the entire world that the blood of our sons and the security of our citizens is not in vain. All of Lebanon should burn." Lebanon's Ministry of Health says Israeli attacks since 2 March across the country have killed at least 3,696 people and injured 11,413 others. PartySick 173,655
Israel's pissy because the US isn't interested in fighting their wars for them and Trump is caving to political pressure to back out of the Iran conflict they encouraged him to start. But they're not committed to peace of any kind so they continue to invade and murder their way into other sovereign nations under the guise of "fighting terrorism". I hope Trump's crazy enough to just burn the bridge in a major way. Whimsical bitch
Guillaume Hamon 7,033
This whole Israeli government should be in jail. They think they're superior with their live worth so much more than others ones but they're just soul-less, blood-thirsty monsters... 6

Innocent people in both countries: we just want to live normal life. Westerns: bring me the popcorn, a match in the middle east is starting, thoughts and prayers ya’ll xoxo, did u watch the new toy story movie, slaaaay, free palestine, stop jew hate and all that lol See the difference is lebanese/HA perspective will never be burn israel because the entire point of the cause is to give the land back to palestinians, not destroy it. That's why the only ones using bioweapons that destroy the land are israelis, destroying olive trees and soil with white phosphorus, turning Gaza into rubble and dust with unlivable air. One is the aggressor and one is trying to defend against their villages and entire families being erased, which has already happened. Do not make these equivalencies, the world is not blind anymore. chaeri pls
Stylor 246
Literally the same language that Hezbollah and Hamas use and leftists love to defend. I always wonder if leftists would support Israel had it remained a Russian-aligned socialist country like when it was originally founded. The world is still blind and will always be, they never cared about Lebanon, they bring it up here and there when it's only serving their anti-zionist narrative, like this post, it's purpose is not to bring awareness to the situation about Lebanon, but to show the big bad Israel and nothing more. There's no difference between "burn lebanon" to "our struggle will end only when this entity (Israel) is obliterated" A destruction is a destruction, doesn't matter how u do it, to find humanity in an idea of destruction is like to call the IDF the most humanitarian army in the world. Each side sees the other as the aggressor and see themselves as the victim, it's an endless loop that justifying violence. See, I'm able to criticize my fascist government, I can show empathy, and anger to all the destruction they did and doing to Lebanon, I see you and also alse as a human beings, as a friends, as someone that one day I wish to meet, but I hope you too will be able to see beyond the hate, the anger, the propaganda, and to be able to criticize Hezbollah as well and not to ignore their side of the story and their atrocities, their weapons and missiles. I do understand it though, I really am, I felt it as well and I can't blame u for feeling this way, since you were born you heard the missiles of my country, you didn't deserve it, I only hope you can find the will to overcome it and see a different, more peaceful, perspective. I will never agree to what my fascist government and previous governments did to Lebanon, I will never agree to eliminate Lebanon from the map or make it part of "Israel", I don't believe in the idea of the "greater israel". it doesn't make any sense. it's a destructive idea. The only idea I agree with is to live by your side, to give back what we took, to apologize for what we caused, it will not bring the people u lost back, but I believe that from the ashes, we can start a new beginning. do you believe that? I would prefer to speak about the fact that Israel is inside Lebanon, killing and destroying anything they can, despite what Trump is saying, that they are holding Lebanon as hostages, just to f-ck up the negotiations with Iran, that everyday Israelis are dying because of this nonsense. Israel still didn't start to help the people who lost their houses, jobs, etc.. they live in hotels for 3 years. It's a political war just like every war in the last 3 years. I'll not be surprised if another one will start very close to the elections honestly. Anyway, while we speak, Israel killed 22 people in Lebanon... Update: now it's 30... Because it's the only thing that can make me feel sane in this world right now. I feel your pain. I’m not Jewish and have no ties to Israel whatsoever, but I’ve been feeling alarmed and overwhelmed with the extreme rise of antisemitism since October 7. And I know I’m not the only one. I just can’t imagine how Jewish people are feeling. I used to consider myself a progressive and leftist, but October 7 was a wake-up call. I’ll never forget the DSA and other leftist organizations organizing rallies on October 7 when the massacre was still taking place. Those were not protests, they were celebrations. Far-right Nazis were always out there, but the current red–green–brown alliance is what made antisemitism mainstream again. And this is why antisemitism from the left hurts the most. The obsession with a tiny country the size of New Jersey will never be normal. Liberal Zionists, which leftists love to hate on, were always on the forefront of every single civil right movement in America. And all of sudden, leftists thew them under the bus to align with people they have nothing to do with, except their hatred of Israel. You can support universal healthcare, public transportation, college affordability, labor unions etc, but if you support Israel’s right to exist, then you have no place in the left today. But if you’re against all of that, religious fanatic, openly antisemitic, but make being anti-Israel your entire personality, you’ll be more than welcome by ‘progressives.’ Liberals and centrists seem to be the only normal people left. Anyway, I just wish things would go back to how they were before. But I will always support Israel and the Jewish people, the kindest and most extraordinary people I’ve ever met. 1

I think it's important not to generalize, I'm myself left for example and will always be. but the left itself is hmm complicated and there's always going to be someone who is lefter than u lol I believe that we shouldn't blame the left for the actions of a small but loud group, because it's serving the right at the end.
