I actually think a proper jazz tour would be a massive flop, however, I am surprised they haven't tried to enter the jazz market a little more with festivals and such. It's cheaper and she loves doing it.

I appreciate that others appreciate her jazz as much as I do, but idk if I can give up her darkpop either. As long as we don’t get Chromatica again, I’m perched for whatever she brings

Just for you she should do Chromatica Jazz version! The journey continues!

I think when she toured with Tony, it helped fill the rooms because she was just becoming known more for her Jazz singing. But enough time has passed and her Jazz vegas show did so well I think she would easily be able to do a theatre tour and perform jazz sets with success. I don't think a whole arena would be sold out, but it is also lady gaga and fans will go to anything just to hear her sing lol

Flop? She's one of the biggest and most respected artists on the planet, any small venue (theater) tour of hers would sell out in minutes, even if it was just her doing a live mukbang or whatever

...has anybody seen my disco stick?

She had few stops in and outside USA for Cheek to Cheek Tour, that the only time she did Jazz outside Vegas.

I am not sure about doing that kind of multi cities tour now, pure old school Jazz that she does is not a very popular genre. Especially in the age range of her audience. Vegas filled up because it's concentrated to one place. Maybe if she do some kind of residency type as well in Europe and beyond.

Sure, but because of her success I don't think numbers matter in this case but cultural credibility. As of now, she's not really engaged at all with the jazz industry and kind of done her own vegas thing. i love it but i think she has a bit more legwork to do with the industry to get the level of respect a global jazz tour would require.

Kinda depends on how many dates and the size of the venues, no?

We have forgotten our public MANNERS

Honestly, I would vibe with that. I don’t hate Chromatica, it just usually leaves me a bit more depressed after listening to it.

I would love her to do a dual Jazz tour. One act would be “Lady” (standards) and the other act would be “Gaga” (her own pop songs rearranged for acoustic/Jazz. Think Paparazzi and Bad Romance at the original J&P, or doings like DITD or Hair at the Mayhem Ball).

I think an arena tour would be possible, although for such a setting venues with like 5k capacity or open air theatres would be more fitting over an arena or a stadium. I imagine Hollywood Bowl in LA, Arena di Verona or Waldbühne Berlin. Or she does even smaller venues like she did for Harlequin Live.

Robbie Williams also made an arena tour work for his Swing album, even with multiple dates in nearly all cities, although swing is totally different from his usual pop/rock music

Now I have this on my wishlist for a future Gaga project. An album of Jazz renditions of her pop songs. Hoping for Stupid Love and Babylon to make the cut. But right, it's not her happiest album
