If she left out the CD signing comment and left it at “had the pleasure of working with him” and used that as a segue to talk about how talented he was, it probably would’ve landed better, but people are acting like she wrote, “RIP Oliver Tree, anyway stream #DirtyBlonde” lmao

She could’ve just said she felt devastated and privileged to have had the chance to collaborate with him very closely and she’ll miss him very much or something.

The way she worded it is… particular, to say the least. I don’t think she had bad intentions as at all, but her post is horribly worded, especially as your first ever post about it  Like girl, you didn’t have to mention your album and its title so explicitly

i think people are blowing this out of proportion. she's talking about her feelings, her grief, how she received the news, this is completely normal. maybe not worded the best because she just wrote in the spur of the moment but i think this is far from using oliver's death to promote her album.
