Yes, 1000% agreed. Unfortunately for Katy I just don’t think she has the depth or versatility as a performer to do what Gaga has done.

It's actually pretty good. Idk if its a hit and i think I prefer bandaids but its not bad at all. The way she sings certain lines in the chorus feels a bit weird but I think itll grow.

I’m reminded of how back in the day people would say Katy was actually the Madonna to Gaga’s Cyndi Lauper. And now… well..

love the intro instrumental and the outro melody~but the chorus is super weak and off..... this is improvement, sounds like her early album's outtake. she suit so much with poprock sound...this and bandainds clears the whole 1432....

The verses are ok, but I hate the melody of the chorus.

The lyrics are basic and cliche too. I mean, Katy's never had super deep or interesting lyrics, but this kind of songwriting annoys me tbh. It feels so on the nose and literal.

The chorus could be a bit better, I don’t like the “ma-a-a-tch” melody and it could hit a bit harder, but the verses are quite nice and especially the outro is pretty cool
