The Ew from Judas 1,515 Posted June 15 Share Posted June 15 As someone who grew up during the time Disney marvel was trying to hide the X-men, I am so so happy to see them be back in the spotlight and be so prominently featured-from how great ‘97 is, to major comic pushes, to the stuff in the MCU, to video games like the Wolverine game and the tons of stuff they do with them in marvel rivals it’s so nice to be an x-men fan for the first time in a long time. trust me I have over 40 hours as Emma frost in marvel rivals Ew 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can’t lie as a comic purist I dealt with the original movies and hated that they made Wolverine the face of the Xmen to sideline so many good characters also this is like the third goodbye to the fox xmen so I’m excited for us to finally move on creatively! And then had to find a new one and make changes to the story he originally put forward. But they’ve confirmed that after that break they’ll be doing S3 & 4 in 2027 and 2028 respectively. The current run of comics has been pretty diabolical (although I’ve enjoyed the Phoenix and Binary comics atm). Hopefully they inspire new and exciting comic runs again. Can’t wait to get preliminary comic runs that relate to the movies eventually too. Also saw the footage from Wolverine and idk how to feel, I hate that they took out the Jean playable bits from the original leak and made her look older too. Also not to mention she is basically in a drab X3 knockoff garb nnn the gameplay looks nice but I’ve never been a hack and slash type of person. Think the last game I enjoyed was MUA2.
