There needed to be more going on than just people standing with flags around them, the song wasn't exciting or massive enough to warrant that amount of understatement. The kid barely sang, no reason for him to be there other than the song being written about children. Katy's vocals weren't terrible but they weren't great either, she's still singing these songs in the style of Firework. And singing an album track that no one outside her fanbase knows was a huge mistake. I have no idea why FIFA chose her for this. She stopped being successful nearly a decade ago.
