Kind of a psychedelic hodgepodge where Venus is both the goddess of Love and also a cosmic deity from elsewhere, so “take me to your leader” has always been a play on aliens saying that in old movies, “show me who made you, you’re so beautiful” is recasting Venus as, not just the goddess of Love, but the creator of all things beautiful because the song already implies that the person she’s falling for is so beautiful that they seem like they’re from another “galaxy, space, and time.” We have forgotten our public MANNERS 1 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
