They're going to be so mean-spirited and combatative in a way even 2016 would blush at. Very much looking forward to seeing the stale, male & pale tear each other to shreds. LateToCult 42,068
🚨 AOC rejoins DSA after 7 years 🚨 I’m gonna cross her off my maybe list (for now). This is a Senate move. She wants the Mamdani machine on her side to make sure NYC support is enough to offset the rest of the state in a primary. (In my opinion.) Kamala Harris has seen two high profile public rejections by Mary Peltola (running for US Senate in Alaska; outright rejected an endorsement Harris made) and Rob Sand (running for Governor of Iowa; said he would not want Biden or Harris campaigning for him). Dying to see if she goes through with a 2028 campaign (she’s **allegedly** gearing up for it but this was before these huge warning signs). She NEEDS that Black support to materialize for her because I don’t think any other faction will get her anywhere near the nomination. LATETOCULT’S SPECULATION BOGUS POWER RANKING: 1) Ossoff (duh) 2) Shapiro (doing numbers in PA) 3) Harris (ALLEGED support from Black voters in the South if Lance Bottoms loses GA Governor’s race) 4) Newsom (name recognition) 5) Khanna (Left frontrunner without AOC) Edited Sunday at 02:56 AM by LateToCult
SlowLoris 1,225
My prediction is that the Dems are gonna make the same exact mistakes that cause them to lose perpetually because they care more about their wealth and the status quo than actually offering progressive politics with real impacts on lives.

Biden's legacy, for better or worse, is still hung around Kamala's neck. Partially 'cause she decided to own it rather than risk bruising his ego and forging her own path, which is on her. Bronco 27,071
Missouri supreme court just struck down the gerrymandering map. https://apnews.com/article/redistricting-congress-missouri-trump-gerrymandering-5034c87f2161baa933ea337408e4c5b4 Pending an appeal to SCOTUS, that's potentially 2 instead of 1 Dem House wins coming.
