They had to stick it out until both movies were over or it would've looked really bad. The timing of it is a choice - a week after her debut single got released and the first night of her tour. Breakup announcements are timed for maximum impact and this is exactly that. Maybe her new song isn't about Cynthia after all, as I predicted. But it shows how long they must've split because for her to have a whole album ready with likely more breakup songs suggests this all happened a long time ago. Damn, two marriages ended and an infant daughter left all for a relationship that lasted 2.5 years. I bet Ethan will be trying to worm his way back into Lily's life again.
