they kind of changed the breed of scooby, didn't they? i'm not sure if this cute little dog is the same breed... but it's very cute.

There’s something about people’s obsession with realism in tv, film and video games but a massive love of AI that is peculiar to me.

This should've been a CGI talking dog like in the early 2000s movies. Sometimes things need to be stylised

THANK YOU. One of my biggest issues with modern cinema is that everything has that flat, awful greyscale “realistic” lighting palette like it’s being shot under fluorescent lighting lmao. Give me technicolor, give me movies that look like paintings, give me SOMETHING!

I recently thought this as well about video games in particular, my favourite games series’ have all changed their art styles and now really want hyper realism. Now it’s taking up-to 10 years for a game project to come out. I miss when games and animated movies looked animated or when CGI characters looked CGI.

Laugh at me if you want, but the 2002 film had some genuinely heartwarming/tear-jerking moments that will be impossible to replicate with a real canine (regardless of how cute it is)

Kudos to being the single (1) person in the target demo for that decision. You must be feeling very seen ♥️

He has big shoes to fill, those who have seen Good Boy and Anatomie d'une Chute know what I'm talking about.
