Like obviously, if Hudson ran the "I hate (insert ethnic group) club" in high school that's a very different beast. But teenagers are idiots. They are impulsive. They don't have a lot of lived experience. WW2 is a line item in a book—how do you fathom the death of so many people—a century ago? I think being realistic is the human response.
