She did a sold out arena tour that got a second leg in the US because of demand! And now she will tour school gymnasiums? Chappell is only gone right now because she’s choosing to take her time with her next album. It’s very possible she’ll wait too long and it will flop but her first album was so amazing I think a lot of people will give a new album a solid chance. I wouldn’t jump her in with artists who have put out a new album and flopped. She’s just hasn’t put out a new album at all. Also I wouldn’t put Dua in that category either. She sold out her last tour and it actually did even better than her previous tour. Her album did well internationally too I think. I wouldn’t call her a flop right now either.
