This song is amazing because I feel like it gave us a peek into what Gaga was feeling around 2016-2020, almost like a diary entry. I feel this especially in the bridge when shes talking about ‘Malibu Gaga, looks so sad, what is this saga?’ In my mind she was absolutely talking to the fans who didn’t get the Joanne era. I loved this honesty from her.”

BELLYACHE — “Kinda grew on me. Ik she wrote this in 10 minutes, it feels cheap and also contender for her worst bridge. But it’s not as bad as some of the other tracks on here.”

DESTROY UR DISEⱯSE — “Despite this being one of my least faves I like the vocal layering in the chorus, I think it sounds pretty cool. The synths there are also nice. I'm not the biggest fan of the hi-hats happening there - they just feel like they're there for the sake of filling the empty space within the instrumental and not in a good way, like a lot of those generic trap tracks that have been charting in the latest years. Oh and I find the way she belts ‘PLAAASTIIIICCC’ in the outro very enjoyable too. Damn actually a lot of these songs are quite a vibe you know... if only they were executed in much better way.”

LOVEDRUG — “The chorus is too shrill and use of metaphor too clunky for me to ever warm to it. It doesn't help that she took the same general idea and did it a hundred times better on Perfect Celebrity.”
