I think it was a special thing just for this event, but it also could've been an unreleased song from the MAYHEM sessions that she thought as fitting for this. Hopefully she brings it back at some point in the future.

I really wished she released this! I love it, maybe needs some more work but I think it could be lovely. This and her cover of “Won’t you be my neighbor”, I want both!!!

Yes, it’s so corny and “for dummies” to write and perform a song about being raped, or a song about your best friend dying of cancer in her forties.

Genuinely if you don’t like these songs that’s fine but it’s wild to suggest they shouldn’t exist. If that’s “corny” then fine, be corny, because writing songs about trauma that is relatable to so many people is important and brave.

Where did i say it’s corny or bad to write songs about rape or cancer? I’m sure songs about these topics can be great and well written
