It’s not even that I think the melody or the lyrics are bad, I just think they’re boring. There’s no tension, no stakes, everything feels more or less emotionally resolved at the start of the song which basically gives it nowhere to go. Completely unnecessary and only utilized to add minutes to the song which doesn't have a strong enough chorus to justify the change. I would probably listen to BOG more if it were just 2 minutes.
