MAYHEM Era Changes

The MAYHEM era was already AMAZING, but I feel like they didn’t capitalize enough on all of the amazing music  There was also global Gagamania this time last year that I feel like could’ve been used more strategically. She was already rehearsing and performing the songs live, but I think with a bit more planning and execution done in the first half of 2025 things could’ve been even bigger and better.

Pre-Album Release

- Film a music video for Garden Of Eden

- Release Remix EPs and physical singles for Disease and Abracadabra 

- Disease and Abracadabra BTS GagaVisions

- An official studio acoustic version of Abracadabra ala Disease Poison + Antidote

Post-Album Release

June: Garden Of Eden Music Video released, Remix EP released, physical singles released, Film Halloween Special for Netflix

July: GOE GagaVision Released

August: Heavier teasing for The Dead Dance, The Dead Dance released the Friday before Wednesday S2’s release (full week of tracking)

September: TDD GagaVision, heavy overall Gaga x Halloween promotion not just focused on TDD

October: Gaga Halloween Special on Netflix (ala A Very Gaga Holiday and the Muppets Special), featuring performances of Zombieboy, Abra, Disease, The Dead Dance, and Die With A Smile. Guest appearances by Catherine Zeta Jones, Jenna Ortega, and Bruno Mars

November: MAYHEM Complete Edition Physical Release featuring TDD, Kill For Love, and Can’t Stop the High on/around Black Friday 

December: MAYHEM BTS Footage for Christmas

Others:

- The MAYHEM Ball BTS + Travel GagaVisions

- A remix album/EP of some sort

I didn’t think I had seen any MAYHEM era little manager discussions outside of the theoretical GOE vs VIY vs HBDUWM single debate for the last year 

This is more me saying I wish they had done more post-Gagacabana while the iron was hot and the public was here for it

I was around here during that month and a bit.

They did try with GOE it was plastered on some big playlists and even had F1, but it never fully caught on like "Abracadabra".

I do feel though it'll get its well deserved moment in future.

Yeah it had an initial streaming push when the album came out + the racing promotion but I really think post-Rio with a good video and a social media push it probably would’ve been the biggest radio (sans DWAS) and club hit of the era. It’s a party song. The last (quality) one of those Gaga put out as a single was ROM

I think the only change I want is for her to release a music video with no intentions for it to be a single like John Wayne or 911. Maybe one for Vanish Into You.

well yea, because there was no video for like for Abra :P People need visuals of which they can create their own content.

I wish there was more videos between Abra and TDD.. like literally ANYTHING from the album would have been epic, because I feel like Abra ends on a cliffhanger.. like I guess the tour is the resolution, but wish we had more videos.. and physicals for other singles than DWAS, like that worked so well for the single, why did they not do the same for the other tracks?!

I mean they only did CDs back when it was released, then later on they did vinyls, but it was like 2 months after its release because it was holding on.

Disease was deceased by the time it was 2 months old. 

Abra could've benefited if we think of the 2 months idea 'cause it would been around Coachella + followed by Gagacabana.

idk most artists have everything ready to sell upon release so it shocks me that THE Lady Gaga had nothing ready to scalp us when she dropped the singles   even the very shush suprise nature of the single drops were so... odd? like most of us knew things were dropping thanks to random articles, rather than news from her/her team.
