It doesn't seem like madonna Is chasing trends that much this time. But Also i feel like theres so much of her She Just doesn't give.

This obviously. Shes been doing primo to her writing side trying tò Garner attention her album would never get.

Agreed. Her work on Gwen Stefani's first solo record is magicalllll

 

And she's not wrong. A handful of Madonna's releases since 2008 seemed to plant itself in already-established sounds, rather than being new, authentically her, or inventive. I did an entire Madonna discography listen this past year, and when she phones it in, you can tell. When she's committed, great work comes out.
