'Obsession' makes rare box office feat in its second weekend

“Obsession” is, well, the obsession of the box office.

That’s after the low-budget horror film earned $22 million from 2,655 North American theaters in its second weekend and a projected $28.2 million through the Memorial Day holiday. Those ticket sales are 30% above its debut (an impressive $17.2 million from 2,615 cinemas) — a virtually unprecedented increase for a movie that was already in wide release. It’s especially uncommon for horror, a genre that’s notorious for falling sharply after opening weekend. So far, “Obsession” has generated $58.5 million in North America and $74 million worldwide. It was produced for less than $1 million and will easily become one of the year’s most profitable releases.

I hate scary movies but I want to watch it for him tbh. And the fact that he’s gay irl is really making hard not to go watch.

This might be the actor from Season 5 or 6 of Teen Wolf. He played a gay (tw*nk) character too.

I only ever watched clips of TW over a decade ago to "research" Dylan O'brien, so I don't remember him... but apparently you're right ✅

It's so good! Curry Baker is a very talented director and although the movie is not perfect, it's incredibly solid for a feature debut
