I enjoy SOAW very much, but it definitely belongs in a film where she’s playing a fictionalized version of herself. 

It’s too overly simple to be on any of her albums. Ally could have used it, but they made sure to bypass Gaga’s signature sounds altogether with ASIB pop songs.

I mean, I in fact like Shape Of A Woman but it's far away from deserving a spot on a regular studio album and, again, I'm not even a hater of it. There's a reason why it didn't make the cut on MAYHEM. I'm glad she's proud enough of those recording sessions to release songs here and there, they're still good, but even herself knows they don't keep up with the rest of her work

Now that I think about it I'd hate if her next albums included a song in the same nerve. Lol. She's smart enough to place it on a film like TDWP2, but it literally adds nothing to her legacy at this point. Another female empowerment (if you might) track... Groundbreaking, I guess. I hope she goes further and push at some point a They Don't Care About Us. That'd actually be inspiring

SOAW was released as a promotional single to advertise Ally Maine’s appearance as a guest judge on Project Runway - in which contestants got to design a look for her upcoming tour, The Chaos Angel Ball. 

Runway was released shortly before in conjunction with her highly anticipated appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race, where the queens got to write and record their own verses for the track.
