Yeah, I don't think she's crashing out or being defensive. I think she knows where she is in the zeitgeist, where her career trajectory is likely to go after brat, and isn't afraid to address it while doing what she wants.

Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one who read that OP and came out of it just thinking that Twitter gay is a clown.

This is that **** I can’t stand about pop music fans (and I’m looking primarily at the eff ay gees). They’re not satisfied with just not liking something and moving on with their lives. They want to humiliate the artist too. A lukewarm or non-existent public reaction to new music is blood in the water for these people.

N E way. I don't think Charli intends or expects to sustain the heights she got with BRAT. But calling the dance music dead wasn't the best marketing decision she could come up with I'll say that
