biggest trend and it was just a bunch of loud gays and queers in social media lmao nobody outside that bubble knows who the **** she is

Y’all personalise and project far too much on this website. Just because you didn’t like the music or the fact it was everywhere doesn’t mean it wasn’t. You’re factually incorrect bc Brat Summer was literally everywhere. Fashion brands were referencing it, clubs were playing the album and celebrities were talking about it. Even her Kamala Is Brat tweet went viral during the last election. And like I said she had a term added to the Webster dictionary.

Your reply is closer to a crash out than what she did btw which is ironic :rip:

One thing artists need to do is stop reading Twitter/Tik Tok comments. Gaga said years ago that social media is the toilet of the internet and it only keeps getting worse.

i don’t like how she’s calmly just sharing her thoughts and people are referring to it as a crash out…not to be the friend that’s too woke but as a woman that’s not sitting right with me

let the music speak for itself, i don't like when artists are overly defensive and sensitive

I don’t read this as defensive, it’s just a PR move because not everyone in her fanbase understands irony and sarcasm so they take the “dancefloor is dead now we’re making rock music” seriously. Even though the lyrics spell out the sarcasm.

Dance music artists crashed out and tweeted about her when she said it in an interview before the song came out, and even Madonna just responded to the “dancefloor is dead” claim in her latest posts which is funny that SHE of all people doesn’t get irony

See I'm not familiar with how Charli operates, but from what I've got from Brat she's an insecure person and Brat set expectations for her next album high so I figured she might fold and get on the internet with the whole if you get you get it and if you don't you don't. I think we'll see more once the album comes out and comparisons to Brat are at all time high.

I can tell you she doesn’t really care anymore, she cares more when Crash came out because she specifically made Crash as her last attempt of becoming a big popstar. Sadly it didn’t work so she gave up and started just making music she liked and then Brat somehow caught on to culture. She’s always been this interactive and explanatory since her early days really.

Like I said she’s maybe doing PR because people don’t get the irony but Rock Music is very much in the spirit of all the artists she worked around for years. Sophie would’ve loved it because it’s taking the piss out of pop culture and music culture at large. She’s self admittedly insecure but not in the way people think, I mean she has an entire song about her insecurities about Taylor Swift on Brat when she was dating Matt Healy who is the lead singer of the band Charli’s husband is in.

yikes, she's giving Doja Cat.... bummer to see her so insecure but kind of funny given how pretentious her team is (mind you, I've been an Angel for over 13 years since Heartbreaks & Earthquakes the mixtape...)
