Nah It had a huge impact online and in the music community on a large scale.

I know that many various ppl used the BRAT fonts for memes or niche videos.

Since Kamala used BRAT summer to promote her campaign, I think that the visibility was bigger.

agreed . my elder millenial sister who always made fun of me for my music taste (specifically citing charli xcx lol) even listened to and liked brat. it definitely reached a lot of audiences that none of her othr music has

on the actual point, she’s not defending herself as even people supporting her have called this an effort to shed brat fans. She’s just explaining intentions a bit more. By this read of her stuff, Gaga has been defensive for 20 years. Women can’t explain themselves or their art that people willfully misconstrued without people calling them defensive, lord.
